The event will commence with a deeply meaningful Welcome to Country, followed by a Traditional Smoking Ceremony and a captivating Welcome Dance by the Wayilak Bayubarring Dancers.

We are privileged to be joined by respected Elders and esteemed members of the Taungurung Community, who graciously invite us to partake in this centuries-old traditional practice deeply rooted in the wisdom and spirituality of the oldest living culture in the world. Through this immersive experience, participants will forge a profound connection with the land, pay homage to our ancestors, and delve into the captivating stories and traditions of the Indigenous peoples.
